Retreat groups are welcome at Buffalo Mountain year-round. In fact, over 2,800 people came here for a retreat last year! A wide variety of groups from church, school and civic organizations have utilized our retreat facilities. We are unique in that we can serve groups that need to get away for a time of quiet reflection or those that seek fun and adventure.
For those seeking solace, we provide a natural setting conducive to study, prayer and contemplation. And for those in need of adventure, there is lots of nature to explore, as well as easy access to mountain scenery, and fishing and hiking trails. Additional options can be arranged which include: canoeing, swimming, climbing, rappelling, etc.

We provide two lodging options, each with their own unique characteristics.
A favorite option for retreats, conferences and family reunions, the Retreat Center is similar to a hotel and has all the facilities needed under one roof (learn more).
For a more rustic retreat experience, Allison Lodge and its surrounding cabins is a great choice for youth groups, boy scout troops, etc. (learn more).
Limited tent camping is available. Our outpost sites (all located on top of the mountain) offer covered sleeping areas with fire pits. Please call the office to discuss these possibilities.
Optional Food Service
All retreat groups have the option of providing their own food or we can prepare meals with various options (learn more). Please note that a notice of two weeks is required for the camp to provide meal service.
