Our Summer Camp Program takes place during the summer months and targets children and youth. In 2011, 633 campers came to Summer Camp. There is something for all ages. It's a great time for campers to: play in the creek, swim in the pool, inner-tube and paddle down the Nolichucky River, climb and rappel, cookout, make lots of fun crafts, and much, much more! But most importantly, we want each and every camper to learn more about who Jesus is and much He loves them. At Buffalo Mountain Camp we mesh daily Bible study and worship with opportunities to experience the outdoors in new and excited ways.
Three types of programs are offered through Summer Camp:
The complete camping experience for 3rd to 12th graders. Each session is packed with five days and four nights of camping life with your choice of two types of camping experiences (learn more).
An excellent first-time away from home experience for 2nd to 5th graders. This program provides two-night or three-night sessions with typical summer camp activities (learn more).
Targeting 1st graders to 3rd graders, day camp is a wonderful way to introduce camp life to young children. For five days, day campers experience all daytime activities of camp. Daily transportation is the responsibility of each family. (learn more).
