Support Camp

Buffalo Mountain Camp's success in providing memorable and life-changing camping and retreat experiences relies on the prayerful support and generosity of our friends.  This generosity is shown in many ways - whether through financial support, material donations or giving of your time by coming to work at camp - and we are very grateful for your support.

In Luke 6:38 the Bible tells us:

"Give and it will be given to you.  A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.

For with the measure you choose, it will be measured to you."

If you feel led to support camp in some way, read on!  There are many ways to partner with us in providing Christian camping to all that come to the mountain.

Our Biggest Need

More than money, more than material donations, we need your PRAYERS.  We ask for prayer in:

  • Following God's direction

  • Overcoming obstacles

  • Changing the lives of the children, youth and adults that come here

Financial Donations

Recently, we have started offering supporters the option of making a donation in memory or honor of a loved one or group.  We simply ask that you include the name and address of the person you are making the donation in honor or memory of.  Upon receiving your support, we will then send a card notifying the person that a donation was made.  Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and all donations are tax-deductible.  Send checks to:

Mission Projects/Work Teams

Many work groups (church, school or even a group of friends) come to Buffalo Mountain to help with projects that lack the funds needed to complete them.  Following is a list of various projects.  Contact the camp for more details as well as to see what other more pressing projects we are in need of.

  • Beautification of camp entrance

  • Distributing mulch and sawdust to our Home-in-the-Woods

  • Cut and split firewood

  • Paint the pool (every April/May)

  • Build more covered swings overlooking our lake and creek

  • Re-roofing five of our buildings
